South Africa & Botswana 2011
My family and I went on a trip to Cape Town, South Africa & 3 Safari Camps in Botswana.
Our trip was booked through Discover Africa in partnership with Wilderness Safaris. They were incredible to work with and provided an amazing experience for myself and my family.

Travel restrictions allowed only 44lbs per passenger so I had to get creative about balancing camera gear weight and needing other items like clothing and toiletries. My camera bag ended up being about 12-14lbs with all of the gear I ended up taking. Below is a list of what I brought:
